 "Power on a budget" 2010-04-22
By Kerol D. Marius (St Lucia)
If you are looking to build a system than gives you power for gaming or multimedia creation, this is an excellent platform to go with your budget. The motherboard has all the features to create some amazing without breaking your wallet. I do video creation, and this board is a treasure with respect to it's SLI features. I would advise the Phenom II X4 910, as this is the CPU I use along with 2 Nvidia 9600GT's. Bottom Line, for price, cannot be beat.

Pros: Relatively Low Cost, Good Expansion Options.

Cons: Not enough Upgrade options (It is an older board).

 "Fire and Smoke Bad" 2009-10-05
By J Telford (USA)
What can I say when your motherboard goes up in smoke and flames. Luckily I did not lose anything but the motherboard. This board has been nothing but trouble since I bought it. Had a Gigabyte before that was a piece of cake to install and setup. Buyer beware on this product it is not simple to set up and XFX is not a lot of help. I would not recommend this board to anyone and was very glad I was at the computer when it caught on fire.

 "Think twice before buying" 2009-04-20
By M. J. March (Dallas, TX)
The XFX nForce 750a mobo isn't well built. At least the 2 I tried. Recently purchased 1 of these boards, it looked well designed for cooling & had room for expansion, but they are duds. Equipped it with all compatible components. AMD 9550 , Maxtor 300 Gig SATA, Memorex DVD ROM, 4 Gigs Crucial Ram, nVidia 8800 GTS Video & a 650 Watt PSU. The mobo would boot, allow me to make simple changes to the BIOS, then would not post. Went into the `Safe Bios' via a jumper and got the same results after simple BIOS tweaks. Exchanged the mobo for another and received the same results, this time I butchered another system with a AMD 9850, same model video, Seagate 1.5 TB, 8 Gigs of Ram, liquidcooled, and a Antec 650 Watt PSU this one a dud too. Sent in a trouble ticket to XFX & they failed to read the ticket and suggested I use the `Safe Bios'. I returned the board and went with an ASUS mobo which worked flawlessly. I would not recommend the XFX nForce 750a mobo, even to my worst enemy.

thats all i can say. AWESOME! just remember, i wouldnt suggest going past the 9750 amd Quad. its a 95 watt processor. the board cant handle a 125. my dual core was a 125 watt and i blew it. the 9750 runs anything...
