I had bought a phenom 920 and this board runs it perfectly. Be careful when installing and as you add in or connect parts test the board by turning on the power and checking if it posts. For some reason mine wouldn't post initially so I pulled out components till it did. Im not really sure what it was but i think something was shorting the board. Anyways its a solid board so far and has many bios features including overclocking menus. Crossfire with lower end cards should be fine, but the pci 4x slot begins to bottleneck higher end cards such as the hd4000 series eventually. the SB heatsink is extremely small and my 9800gt rests on top of it literally. good board nonetheless but if your looking for something more "futureproof" find a am3 socket board with ddr3 support.
