This MB makes a great HTPC board for an uATX HTPC case. It would not make a good HTPC/high-end gaming board due to the limited PCI-E slots. Don't get me wrong, it would work fine, however; heat dissipation would be an issue if the case is as small as mine is.
Installed is a D-Link DWA-556, a Hauppauge 1213 WinTV-HVR-2250, Phenom II x3 710 processor, PC Power & Cooling PPCS420X Silencer 420 ATX, and 4GB OCZ RAM. I have ran Vista Ultimate 64-bit and it works OK, but like Windows 7 better due to its better media center interface. I also use it to emulate old console games (NES/SNES/N64/Sega/PSX/ATARI).
I would recommend this MB for basic HTPC use.
