This is not a DB9 connector, it is a DB21 connector. I ordered it and the seller sent an DB21 connector that is too large for the motherboard internal connector.

Ihe item I received, from World of Cables LLC, did NOT include the bracket to fasten onto the back of the computer. I lost an hour making my own. And it doesn't work even now. I just learned that there are cross-over wiring types and straight wiring types. I probably got the wrong one. It should specify which type this is, at least. Hint: look at the weight, and compare to others like this. I should have known that it was too light to include a bracket.
