I like this board's functionality and it is solidly built. The only thing I don't like about it is that Gigabyte doesn't let you under-volt the memory. That soiled an otherwise excellent BIOS, that will let you make fine adjustments to practically every component.
The first one I bought had a faulty LAN port, though, which took a long time to diagnose. It first showed as memory instability, and then driver incompatibility, before failing altogether, and revealing the real problem.
Gigabyte's Tech support was OK, but when I got the board back from them, there was no indication that anything had been done to fix it at all. I had to email them, and even then, the cryptic "A faulty component was repaired" was less information than I would have expected. If they are trying to engender confidence in their product, that was just returned after being faulty, it behooves them to keep you better informed about what the problems were, and how they addressed them.
The second board has been fine, so far.
I have this board paired with 4G G.Skill F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH and an AMD Athlon II X4 605E, in an HTPC.
The set-up also includes nMediaPC 1000B case, Asus Xonar 1.3 Slim, LG WH08LS20K BD Burner, Sabrent ST-PX2T SATA Card, 2 1TB media drives, a 325GB System drive, Hauppage 1600 PCI ATSC tuner, and Windows 7.64. I will also add the Ceton card when it comes out next month. It draws about 10W at idle, and 80W during Record and Playback.

This is my first board from Gigabyte, it works fine. One of my friends bougth one too. Is excelent board.
